Escrow

Ruskin Title & Escrow is a neutral third party entity in your real estate transaction.  Escrow services are used when property is bought, sold, or refinanced.  The escrow agent holds money and title to the property until both the buyer and seller agree to release them at the agreed upon date, time and location called the “closing”, thereby ensuring that the seller gets their funds and the buyer gets clean title to the property.

Title Insurance

Ruskin Title & Escrow is a licensed, insured, attorney owned company.  To protect your investment for as long as you own it, we will offer you a title insurance policy.  Title insurance protects the buyer (policyholder) against financial loss due to defects in the title.  An example of a title defect could be a prior recorded mortgage, judgment lien, tax lien, environmental lien, notice of pending legal action, easement, restriction or burdensome covenant running with the land.
